What started in 1992 as a one-man operation in California’s Silicon Valley, has grown into a vibrant company with seven offices world-wide.
Staffed with international teams of extraordinary people, today’s Waverley has nearly a quarter-century of experience running a customer-focused business with multi-region engineering value and state-of-the-art UX design.
The founder and leader of Waverley, Matt has often worked on the forefront of emerging technologies. Prior to launching Waverley, Matt was the Vice President and Co-founder of Clearview Software. Clearview developed the award-winning SmartForms series of Macintosh-based products and was ultimately acquired by Claris Corporation (the Apple spin-off of the mid-1980s). Matt also served as the Director of Device Engineering at fusionOne Inc, a startup providing an Internet service capable of synchronizing customers' various digital devices.
Patti brings over 25 years of experience in software engineering and technical account management at small and medium-sized companies. As Matt Brown’s "second" from the early 2000’s, Patti also worked at Palm, where she was Technical Relationship Manager for Microsoft within the Windows Mobile business unit. Prior to Palm Patti held a wide variety of engineering and management positions at iambic Software, fusionOne, Waverley, Allpen, and Telos.
Alex has over 15 years’ experience in IT management and software development outsourcing with particular expertise in business process outsourcing in Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Waverley, Alex held a series of technical and management positions at GGP, Motorola, SBC/Ameritech, BCBS of Illinois, and Intetics. Alex’s strengths include managing complex client engagements and transnational technology partnerships.
Eugene runs Waverley’s two development centers in Ukraine and brings over 15 years’ experience in outsourced software development and relationship management. Prior to joining Waverley, Eugene worked at Global Logic, a leader in distributed software R&D services. Starting as a software engineer, Eugene advanced to become Global Logic’s Director of Program Management, a position he held for nine years, designing a scalable organizational structure which tripled revenue and headcount while realizing a 30% savings in development costs.

Prior to joining Waverley, Tony had founded a start-up providing information management systems to US health care companies from Vietnam. After two years of bootstrapping a business in Asia, Tony met the Waverley team and decided to join us. As a Vietnamese-American Tony brings business acumen, cross-cultural knowledge, and ten years’ experience building scalable Web applications and embedded systems to our development and QA team in Ho Chi Minh City.Our teams span the globe with seven offices in four countries.
